Photo Gallery - Various

In this section I have added some pictures and photos of "various kind".

Some years ago I bought a coffee jar  with an interesting inscription on: "AB Frykberg & Åfeldt UPPSALA".   ago on Internet which caught my interest due to that there was written "Åfeldt" on it.

After some investigations I found out that the company who made the jar was a trading company named "Frykberg and Åfeldt" and was active in the beginning of 1900. Coffee was one of the type of good that they were handling and trading with.

It actually seem also that of the co-founders of the company, Magnus Carl Gustaf Åfeldt (1873-1915), was actually distant relative of mine and part of our Åfeldt "clan".

I haven't found much more information than tht the company was bought by the big ICA corporation in 1932. Magnus Åfeldt died already in 1915 unmarried and without any children.
